The Technological University of Jalisco (UTJ) was founded in 1999 as a professional development alternative that allows the young students of Jalisco and the western part of the country to become part of the productive sector in a short time or to continue their studies at a professional level.
With the commitment to offer educational programs that take the industry's needs into account, UTJ is a leader due to the high performance levels in its graduates' professional skills, as well as its programs, which are accredited by renowned higher education bodies at national and international level.
The industrial sectors in which UTJ focuses its educational activities include Information Technologies, where we participate in the entire production line, from manufacturing to software development and animation, striving to provide sustainability to this discipline with contributions in the fields of Marketing, Commercialization, and Environmental Technologies, Industrial Maintenance, and Automation.
As a result of its strong connection with the industry, UTJ has important alliances with companies located in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara and in other regions in the state of Jalisco, such as Caterpillar, IBM, Hewlett Packard, and TATA Services, among others. We have recently ventured into new development vocations in Jalisco, such as the aerospace industry.
